We are seeking a professional experienced in producing conferences in the following topic areas:
Health IT, Medical Informatics, Healthcare Industry Transformation, Predictive Analytics, Population Health Management, Coordinated Care, Mobile Health, Achieving the Triple Aim, Hospital Information Systems, Healthcare Reform, Infrastructures to Support Clinical and Financial Transformation in Healthcare, or experience in one of these fields of interest.

Conference producers develop the technical content & agenda of events, recruit speakers and oversee the entire production process. Producers utilize a journalistic approach to build relationships in industry and develop and manage a dynamic portfolio of conference topics. They are top-notch communicators with exceptional relationship-management skills and the ability to effectively attract industry thought leaders to participate & speak at our events.

Activities include: literary review of novel technologies and innovative approaches to care delivery; analysis of the industry for economic, scientific, technical and regulatory trends; extensive phone interviews and email communication regarding source material, topic validation, content development and thought leader recruitment; and use of the knowledge gained to create a compelling conference program.

Producers are more likely to be successful if they come into the job already possessing the following skills & experience:

  • Conference production experience is highly desirable, preferably in medical education and/or science-related seminars and training programs.
  • Must be a self-starter and strong project manager who is undaunted by constant multi-tasking and overlapping deadlines.
  • Travel is required (approx. 10 trips annually).
  • Ideal candidate possesses exceptional creativity and demonstrated ability to determine viability of products.
  • Conference production is team based, and working comfortably with people across the entire organization is essential.
  • Healthcare, Data Analytics, Business Analysis experience is strongly preferred.

DATA ENTRY & INTERNET RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

We are seeking candidates with lightning quick and error-free typing skills to fill the position of DATA ENTRY & INTERNET RESEARCH ASSOCIATE. Duties for this position include:

  • Perform high-volume and accurate data entry [Keyboarding (typing) test will be included during the recruitment process!]
  • Update and add records to our marketing database
  • Conduct Internet research to obtain updated contact information on prospects [Internet skills test will be included during the recruitment process!]

You will work closely with members of our conference production team, providing administrative support in the development of conferences that cover an array of life science and energy topics. This is a mid-level, administrative assistance & project support position in which you will do everything from proofreading, editing and preparing conference materials to conferring with speakers and researching content. Conference Administrative Assistant – Proofreader/Project Support

Role Responsibilities:
As a Conference Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing your own work load. While many of the tasks we do are administrative in nature, this is not your typical admin job! You will support team projects rather than individuals. Tasks are assigned by your manager, but direction can come simultaneously from any member of the conference team. It is a lot to juggle, and it is never boring!

Your duties as a Conference Administrative Assistant include:

  • Proofreading and editing conference materials against time-sensitive deadlines
  • Researching conference-related information using Internet resources and our database
  • Responding to speakers' inquiries and reminding speakers of submission deadlines
  • Preparing electronic (PDF) conference documentation that comes from multiple sources
  • Coordinating job specs and due dates for duplication and delivery by the printer
  • Managing attendee conference material and ensuring that all content is up-to-date
  • Compiling, editing and formatting conference program guides, addenda, flyers, etc.
  • Merging, editing and sending speaker packages, deadline reminders and thank you letters
  • Meeting short turnarounds, working against deadlines & maintaining high standards!

Conference Administrative Assistant – Proofreader/Project Support

Qualifications and Skills:
As a Conference Administrative Assistant, you must be self-motivated and dependable with outstanding organizational, prioritization and time-management skills. You must be an effective team player with the ability to support and take direction from numerous sources, including your supervisor, team members and conference speakers. It is essential that you possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Specific qualifications for the Conference Administrative Assistant position include:

  • 3+ years’ experience as an administrative assistant or executive assistant
  • 3+ years’ background in proofreading and/or copyediting technical documents and preparing business correspondence

Our Account Managers call leads and prospects to sell attendee registrations to our conferences. The position primarily involves making phone calls to "warm" leads, such as past conference attendees; responding to inquiries; and closing event registrations. Some cold calling is also required. In addition, our Account Managers maintain and add to a database of prospects. Account Managers must achieve a pre-set quota for daily outbound calls, connect ratios, and overall monthly sales goals.

Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years of inside sales experience, selling products or services priced at or over $1800.
